My theory work is keeping me away from my beloved sketchbook! (nooo, i wanna draw!) I can't seem to escape the awful clutches of endless paper work. The right side of my brain is dying of boredom in this hellish trap called "art theory".

who needs this "theory" anyway? What else is this but a bunch of mumble-jumble art critics came up with while they were infinitely fat, happy, and bored? A bunch of kill-joys i say! They take the "joy" of of "enjoyment" and stitchs it grotesquely with the word "joyless". The beauty of art works are sucked bone-dry after they finish their tedious blood-sucking/vampiric theorizing about the minute details of the composition. After that, a once beauty work of art is now a living corpse of rattling dry words.

I wonder if art critiques are perhaps somewhat necrophiliac?

I love funky designs and illustrations. But as many may have an experience to, I am a lazy bum... Why? because creativity requires a tremendous amount of energy, sucking it into an infinite eternity of inner-self. In other words, I'm just too lazy to express it. But for those who know me... I do occasionally go nuts. *note: please make sure you ignore me when the time comes. and yes, it comes periodically. XDDDDD

ahaha, not there yet i have to say, but i believe it's starting. essays, tests, and quizzes are just staring daggers behind my back now, and the fact that im feeling it says something about my incoming doom.
and as i thought you might be busy with work since you've been so quiet, havent seen you on on msn for a while now. but hey! hang in there!!

Yup, I can speak it :P I lived in Osaka for a year. You should def try to go over there if you have an interest. I recommend study abroad or teaching, one week isn't enough, let alone one year :P Can you speak Japanese at all?

woooooow!!!! so cool! :wow: AAHHHHH i wanna go visit!:shakefist: we are planning to go next summer but i barely speak. The only phrases i understand are those i learned from watching anime! XD sucha geek.:picknose:

uh YAH, like everything! lol I should have dragged you back down there :D

We got in groups (photo, traditional, lit, digital) and introduced ourselves and what we do. After, Moonbeam13 sat down with all of us and pretty much asked us how to improve the site. We had lots of good ideas :D Then finally Spyed gave a demo of all the new features coming including groups, portfolios and the freaking insannnne search engine. He said they'll be available in 4 weeks. Then we all went up to the cafe to get food and drinks, exchanged screenames etc. I had to leave at 7 to drive home but apparently they hung out until 2am O_o

ahhh I see, well practice this year ^_^ I enjoy anime, but I love to watch Japanese dramas especially. What do you want to see in Japan?

The shorter one has a deviant too right? =P
